As a provider of data processing services within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 (Data Act), aucobo GmbH provides the following information.
Jurisdiction of the infrastructure deployed (Art. 28(1)(a) Data Act)
aucobo GmbH has its registered office in Stuttgart, Germany; German law applies. The aucobo SaaS system is operated on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the Frankfurt am Main region. Customer data and backups are stored exclusively within the EU or the EEA.
The infrastructure providers used are group companies of US-based corporations. In addition to EU and German law, the infrastructure is therefore also subject to US law, in particular the CLOUD Act.
Protection against governmental access (Art. 28(1)(b) Data Act)
We take the following measures in particular to prevent unlawful access by governmental authorities outside the EU to non-personal data:
- storage of all customer data and backups exclusively in data centres within the EU,
- encryption of all communication with the system (TLS),
- logical separation of tenants at network and database level,
- access to data and backups only by authorised personnel of aucobo GmbH.
Data structures and data formats (Art. 26(b) Data Act)
The following customer data can be exported:
- master data: users, groups, roles, permissions, devices,
- workflows and rules from the workflow editor,
- tasks and notifications including content, status, responses and timestamps,
- text, voice and image messages, insofar as they are stored in the system,
- configurations and data flows of the aucobo connectors module.
Data is exported via the REST API in JSON or CSV format. Voice and image files are provided in the format in which they are stored (e.g. JPG). The data structures are described in the online documentation of the REST API.
Supported standards and interfaces: HTTPS/REST, JSON, CSV, MQTT, AMQP, OPC UA.
Switching providers
Customers may at any time request to switch to another provider or to their own IT infrastructure, or to have their data exported and erased. We do not charge separate fees for switching or data export. Details are set out in item 9 of our Terms and Conditions for Software as a Service (VSaaS aucobo).
